Demolition Project

The City Council for the City of Harrisburg will receive sealed bids for the demolition project for the following properties now owned by the City of Harrisburg: 

125 W. South St. – PIN: 06-2-688-10

Sealed bids for the project must be from start to finish: contractor is responsible for demolition, dumpster fees and backfilling. Sealed bids must be submitted to the City Clerk no later than August 05, 2025 by 2:00 p.m. Sealed bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m. on August 05, 2025 in City Hall and awarded during the August 07, 2025 council meeting. The bidder must have one million dollars of liability naming the City of Harrisburg as an insured party. The project must be completed within 45 days of awarding the bid.        

The City Council may accept the lowest bid or offer whose bid meets the requirements and which is determined by them to be in the best interest of the municipality, and which complies with the terms of this notice. The City has the right to reject any or all bids/offers, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. The City reserves the right to review and study all bids and to make an award within thirty days after the bids have been opened and publicly read.
