The City of Harrisburg is accepting sealed bids for a Rights of Way Tractor. Specs: 4-wheel drive, 105 Horsepower engine (minimum), Cab with AC/heat, all tinted windows, beacon flashing light on top, air ride seat, and radio., 3 remotes for PTO Front Suitcase weights Grill guard. Preferences: We prefer a wider and lower profile Right of Way Tractor for the steeper embankments we maintain. Wider meaning the 4WD wheelbase, 4WD width, and a lower/wider tire profile. Trade In: John Deere 5093E Tractor with front bucket and quick attach grappler, 4X4, 90 Horsepower, ILV509EEJBY340846, 3,336 hours, Kioti RX7320 Power Shuttle ECO CRDI Tractor, 4X4, 73 Horsepower, Model# RX7330 PC, Serial# SW50-00311, 1,278 hours, Rhino 2512 Bushhog, Serial# 33607 All sealed bids need to include trade in prices for each piece of equipment along with price of new tractor. Sealed bids will need to be turned into the City Clerk’s Office located inside City Hall at 11OE. Locust St Harrisburg, IL 62946 by Wednesday April 15, 2026, no later than 2 p.m. Sealed bids will be opened April 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in City Hall. The bids will be awarded or rejected at the April 16, 2026 council meeting. The City Council may accept the lowest bid or offer whose bid meets the requirements and which is determined by them to be in the best interest of the municipality, and which complies with the terms of this notice. The City has the right to reject any and all bids or offers, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding. The City reserves the right to review and study any and all bids and to make an award within thirty days after the bids have been opened and publicly read.
