REQUEST FOR BIDS CITY VETERANS DRIVE SPLASH PAD

NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Harrisburg is accepting SEALED BIDS from qualified contractors for the supply, construction, and installation of a new 1,100 square feet Splash Pad near Veterans Drive in Harrisburg, IL. Scope of work includes sitework, site utilities, concrete, plumbing, electrical, and splash pad & equipment installation.

Bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk, located at 110 E. Locust St., Harrisburg, IL until 2:00 p.m. (CST) on June 16, 2026 at which time they will be publicly opened and read during the public Bid Letting meeting located in City Council Chambers at 110 E. Locust Street, Harrisburg, Illinois 62946. The awarding or rejection of the bids may be given at the City Council Meeting on June 18, 2026.

Specification and bid packets may be obtained from the office of the City Clerk between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday, excluding planned holidays.  The bid packet must be filled out in its entirety and accompany all required documentation to be considered.

The purpose of the bidding shall be for the City to accepts bids for: City Veterans Drive Splash Pad. The successful bidder shall comply with all conditions and specifications within the bid packet. 

No bids will be accepted after public opening of bids during the scheduled 2:00 p.m. (CST) Bid Letting Meeting on June 16, 2026.  The City Council of the City of Harrisburg expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bids received.
